Bayern Munich risks it all: very expensive coup in summer

After a very cautious winter session, Bayern Munich will in all likelihood place a very big strike in the summer: Vincent Kompany has asked the management for the purchase of Yan Diomande and Max Eberl will do everything to please the coach. The negotiation certainly is not easy: Leipzig is asking for a lot of money and the competition is very fierce (Liverpool first and foremost) but the Bavarians have already had some contacts with the Ivorian’s entourage.
Max Eberl’s goal is to find an’understanding with Yan Diomande as soon as possible, so as to get ahead of the competition and land the grand champion. Clearly, the considerable outlay for the Leipzig player will mean very little spending on the defense: the management wants to strengthen the department with a graft in the middle and a new right-back but clearly cannot invest too much money.
As for central defender, Bayern Munich will try to reinforce without spending any money: Marcos Senesi and John Stones are both expiring and the Bavarians are monitoring very closely. The former has received several renewal offers from Bournemouth but is determined to take the plunge to a top club, Stones on the other hand wants to try a new experience after many years at Manchester City.
In the list of candidates for right-backs there was also Trent Alexander-Arnold: the Englishman is unhappy at Real Madrid and would already like to change teams but the chances of him moving to Bayern Munich are very slim. Despite the former Liverpool man’s lackluster performance, the Blancos are demanding a huge sum to release him and Max Eberl is therefore considering different profiles. Givairo Read remains a target: the young Dutchman from Feyenoord has been on Bayern Munich’s radar for some time and there have already been contacts with his prosecutors.
Spanish media also report Bayern Munich’s interest in Omar El Hilali, a great Moroccan talent who is doing well with Espanyol. According to As, the Bavarians greatly appreciate the champion’s ductility: he was born as a right-back but can also play as a central defender if needed. His contract expiring in 2027 could greatly reduce Espanyol’s economic demand to release him.
