Bologna market, not only Castro and Odgaard: another renewal official

A week of renewals at Bologna. After the confirmations of Santiago Castro, who extended his contract until June 30, 2030, and Jens Odgaard, who extended the duration of his contract until June 30, 2029, with an option for the following season, the renewal of Massimo Pessina, the third goalkeeper of the Rossoblù club, has also arrived.
The announcement was made by the Bologna club itself through an official statement released on its website late this morning. “Bologna FC 1909 announces that it has reached an agreement with goalkeeper Massimo Pessina for the extension of his contract until June 30, 2029, with an option for the following season” this is what the note from the reigning Italian Cup champions reads.
The goalkeeper, 17 years old, will be the third goalkeeper of the red and blue club.
The 17-year-old Bologna goalkeeper cha had the opportunity to make his absolute Serie A debut against Italian champions Napoli at the Dall’Ara last Nov. 9. Skorupski’s injury forced the Rossoblu technical staff to throw the very young defender into the fray, who withstood the strain and was unfazed, so much so that he finished the match without conceding a goal.
Pessina made his first save on Elmas in the first half, and in the second half he was saved by a post on one of the visiting team’s few chances. At the end of the match he was celebrated by his teammates and burst into tears.
Who arrived at Bologna when he was 13 years old from AlbinoLeffe, Pessina went all the way through the Emilia youth selections and was called up several times in the Italy Under 16 and Under 19. His role model as a goalkeeper is Neuer, his idol Buffon.
