Juventus CEO Damien Comolli to Sky Sport spoke on the sidelines of the Champions League playoff against Galatasaray. The Juventus executive returned to Inter-Juve and the halftime brawl that led to his inhibition: “The reaction was excessive, I am sorry if I offended anyone, but I am here to defend my club. We suffered an’injustice but we reacted in the wrong way”.

Comolli, however, responded testily to Inter president Beppe Marotta’s words about Giorgio Chiellini, described as “an inexperienced youngster”: “I do not want to respond to comments made by executives of other clubs, we do not want to talk about people from the past but about the future”.

“Giorgio is as talented a manager as he was on the field as a player, he represents the present and the future of Juve and Italian soccer. The younger the managers, the better it will be for the movement”.

Bastoni’s mea culpa: “I cannot comment, it was his decision to apologize. We feel sorry for Kalulu, who will be disqualified on Saturday. He has behaved well and is extremely frustrated”.
