Thanks to the two splendid gold medals she put around her neck in the giant slalom and super-G, Federica Brignone has crowned herself not only queen of the Olympics in Milan Cortina, but also of Italian radio and TV.

This is the figure from the monitoring of the main Italian television and radio stations carried out by Mediamonitor.it, a platform that uses technology and solutions developed by Cedat 85: it analyzed what the visibility on radio and TV of the Azzurri who have put a medal in these Olympics was from February 6, the day of the opening ceremony, to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17.

The Carabiniera from Valle d’Aosta, who was also among the flag bearers in the opening ceremony of the Games, garnered 1,869 mentions; the peak of mentions (280), on Sunday, Feb. 15, on the occasion of her triumph in the giant slalom. Behind Brignone is Sofia Goggia (1,260 mentions), the last torchbearer in Cortina and a bronze medal winner in the downhill; also on the mentions podium is Giovanni Franzoni (1,090), a silver medalist in the men’s free run won by the wild Swiss Franjo von Allmen.
