Fair skating star Lilah Fear enthusiastically recounted her experience at the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Village. British star Fear, in her second consecutive participation in the Winter Games after Tokyo 2022, competed as a pair with Lewis Gibson but failed to shine as she wanted, finishing seventh in the standings.

Having vanished the bitterness and tension, the skating star immediately consoled herself, thoroughly enjoying the atmosphere of the Olympic Village, where thousands of top-level athletes came into contact with each other. “I would love it if Cupid’s arrow hit me, because there are really a lot of guys here”, she admitted to the British magazine “Hello!”.

“So many are very nice at the highest level, and they are from all countries. Have there been any couples created? I think a lot of connections were made this week. It’s nice when two Olympic athletes experience the Games as a couple”.

Lilah Fear explained that she was very impressed by the number of people in attendance: “I knew it was going to be a more social Olympics compared to 2022, which was held during the pandemic, but after the first two days my battery was already completely drained because of all the interactions I had”.

“It&#8217s an amazing social experience: meeting so many inspiring athletes, exchanging pins and participating in all the fun activities with friends. It almost feels like a summer camp, like a boarding school or student residence”.

Lilah Fear will try to focus on her latest competitions: “We are here for a few more days and we are Olympians at the Olympics: we want to enjoy it and have no regrets in the future”.
