Carlos Alcaraz suffers but flies to the semifinals in Doha. The world and seeded number one beat Karen Khachanov, number 7 in the seeding and 17 in the ATP rankings, in a comeback with a final score of 6-7 6-4 6-3 after a nearly two-and-a-half hour battle. In the penultimate act of the Qatar Exxon Mobil Open, the Murcian will face Andrey Rublev, who overcame Stefanos Tsitsipas in two sets (6-3 7-6).

Carlitos concedes crumbs on serve and in the ninth game again takes the serve away from Khachanov flying into the semifinals.
