Marco Bezzecchi ended the first day of testing of the 2026 season in Buriram with the fourth time, showing positive feelings at the end of the track work. ‘Bez’ drew a first balance: “There&#8217s still something to try but all in all the first day of testing went well. We are at a good point” said the Romagna rider, who aims this season to improve on the third place in the overall standings achieved in 2025, in his first year in Aprilia.

Bezzecchi explained that the Buriram track is very different from Sepang, where previous tests were held, and that this changes the feeling in the saddle. The team is trying several new technical elements and it is still not easy to understand exactly the level reached, but the indications that are coming are positive and the work will continue in this direction.

Meanwhile, there is also talk of the market, with rumors about a possible future of Pecco Bagnaia in Aprilia. A topic about which Bezzecchi himself has clear ideas: “First of all, I say that these are things that do not concern me so much – he told the official MotoGp channels -. My job is to race on a motorcycle, regardless of my teammate. You can pair me with anyone, in the end I do what I have to do. I don”t care much about that.

Bezzecchi, therefore, prefers to think about the track and working with the Noale team. Beyond the rider market, ’Bez’s focus remains all about performance and preparation for the new season. This time, however, he can also count on the return of teammate Jorge Martín: unlike last year, he will carry out the development of the bike with him and no longer alone, an aspect that the Aprilia rider hopes will make a difference ahead of the season that is about to begin.
