Juventus’ nightmarish moment continues: winless since last February 1, the Bianconeri also bowed to Como at the Stadium, losing 2-0 and thus suffering their third consecutive defeat between the league and Champions League. On the other hand, the Larians return to success, after last week’s home slip against Fiorentina and the draw at the San Siro against AC Milan in the rematch of the 24th day staged on Wednesday. The distance between the two teams, fifth and sixth in the league, is just one point: 46 for Juve, 45 for Como.

Cesc Fabregas’ team seemed on the ball from the first minutes and at the’11’ took the lead: McKennie lost the ball to Douvikas, the Greek served Vojvoda who kicked and beat Di Gregorio for the’1-0. The Larians came close to doubling the score on 38′ when Da Cunha hit the crossbar after another mistake coming out of Juventus’ own area. In the recovery of the first half, Douvikas goes close to doubling the lead with a header but the ball goes wide and at halftime there remains a one-goal margin between the two teams.

The resumption opens with Juventus more enterprising: at 48′ ConceiƧao tries to surprise Butez, who, however, safely blocks. Como responds with a double chance at 52′; Perrone serves Douvikas, Gatti rejects the first shot while the second, by the same Larian striker, ends up high. At 61′ comes the 2-0: perfect counterattack initiated by Perrone and finished by Da Cunha, ball for Caqueret who scores.

.

Juve tries to react: at 65′ Koopmeiners grazes the post with a header, four minutes later Thuram kicks high after a good action by ConceiƧao. In the final Koopmeiners hits the post, but in fact it is the’last chance to be recorded. It ends 2-0: Como neatly manages the final minutes and goes on to take the three points, Juve on the other hand must reflect on the moment-no and recover energy ahead of Wednesday’s return match against Galatasaray, in which Spalletti’s men are called upon to make up as many as three goals.
