After Friday night&#8217s advance, Serie B returns to the field at 3 p.m. with the leading team as protagonists. At the Pier Luigi Penzo, Venezia hosts Pescara in a challenge that pits the top of the class against the last. The hosts have an obligation to win if they want to stretch on Frosinone to aim for direct promotion to A. The momentum of the Veneto is certainly positive: if we consider all the matches played in 2026, they have always emerged victorious except for the recent defeat inflicted at home by Modena. On the other hand, the Abruzzesi are sailing in waters that are anything but calm. Despite an away win in the last round played, the Dolphins struggle mightily outside their home walls.

Stroppa relies on the solidity of his 3-5-2. Between the posts will be Stankovic, protected by a defensive line led by Svoboda. In the midfield, Busio will be in the booth, with Dagasso and Doumbia on either side of him as midfielders. Up front, space for Kike Perez and Adorante.

Gorgone instead relies on his most experienced men, such as Letizia and Bettella, to protect the goal defended by Saio. In midfield, the task of dictating the pace will be given to Brugman, assisted by Valzania and Fanne. Forward, Di Nardo will be the’only point of reference, aided by Olzer and Meazzi in the three-quarter.
