Salomon hits the jackpot with the New Shapers Run 2026

Milan ran to the rhythm of the Salomon New Shapers Run 2026, the 10 km that animated the center of Milan transforming it into a shared space of sport and participation. The initiative attracted thousands of people, proposing an idea of sports oriented to inclusion and collective dimension beyond just competition.
Sponsored by the City of Milan and promoted by the Milan Cortina 2026 Foundation, the race organized by Salomon offered the city a moment of active involvement in line with Olympic values. The streets were transformed for a few hours into a path of meeting and movement, helping to strengthen the link between the sports event and the urban fabric.
“As Premium Partner of Milano Cortina 2026, it is a moment of great pride for us to bring what has always represented us: energy, sports culture and a sense of responsibility – said Paolo Parmeggiani, Country Managing Director Amer Sports Italia -With the New Shapers spirit, we believe that every step can generate a positive impact and contribute to build a more inclusive and sustainable future. Today we shape this vision together with our community”. The route developed among some of the most representative areas of the city, passing towards the Arco della Pace and along Corso Sempione, until the arrival at the Arena Civica. Suggestive was the transit near the Olympic brazier, symbol of the Milanese edition of the Games.
“Today the protagonists were the Shapers: all the people who, in and out of sport, help shape the future” said Ilaria Cestonaro, Marketing Manager of Salomon Italy. The New Shapers Run represents one of the first expressions of ‘Shaping New Futures’ the vision with which the brand intends to combine performance, innovation and design, interpreting its role in the Olympic context through a long-term commitment.
Also present alongside the participants were athletes from Salomon’s Para-Team and International Running Team, including Julien Veysseyre, Christophe Debard, Pol Makuri, Camille Bruyas, Marianne Hogan, Thibaut Baronian, Martina Valmassoi and Jonas Soldini. A presence that helped strengthen the inclusive nature of the event, fostering a moment of direct encounter between athletes and community.
