In recent months, many talents from Bayern Munich’s youth ranks have come into the sights of European clubs. In recent weeks the name of Leonard Prescott, a promising goalkeeper in whom several Premier League clubs have expressed interest, had been mentioned. Now another Bayern Campus gem is at risk: Allen Junior Lambé.

The 17-year-old midfielder is one of the brightest talents in the youth ranks, and recently earned the opportunity to train with Vincent Kompany’s first team. It was the Belgian coach himself who selected him and gave him this chance, emphasizing how he is keeping an eye on him for the future.

Allen Junior Lambé, born in Karlsruhe in 2008, is a massive 190-centimeter-tall central midfielder who can also play in the role of central defender. Dynamic and quick despite his size, he has great tactical intelligence-all qualities valued by Kompany. Arriving from Karlsruhe in 2023, he has grown steadily while playing with FC Bayern Under-17s and is ready for a professional debut.

A lot of European clubs have already eyeing him: according to rumors Olympique Marseille, PSV Eindhoven and some Italian clubs such as Atalanta and AS Roma are following his growth. Marseille reportedly went further, expressing its interest to the player’s agents as early as the end of last year.

Bayern Munich is counting on not losing the player, so much so that they have armored him with a contract until 2028, and may soon give him an opportunity to earn a place in the first team. Leon Goretzka will leave Munich in the summer, and a spot will open up in midfield. Lambé, along with Noel Aseko now on loan at Hanover, is one of the favorites to succeed him.
