Dustman to Real Madrid, there's a big problem with the veteran

The experienced Spanish defender was given the ‘green light’by doctors in early January after the knee problem that forced him to miss several games but, despite this, Arbeloa is playing him with the dropper. According to Mundo Deportivo, during one of the latest training sessions Dani Carvajal collided with young player Víctor Valdepeñas. The’impact was so severe that the Real Madrid Castilla player suffered a knee sprain, forcing him to be out for about four weeks. Worst of all was the reaction of the veteran, who showed no kindness to the young player after the’incident that caused this serious injury, a clear sign of the difficult time the Real Madrid captain is going through.
Just a few weeks ago, at the end of the match against Valencia which he watched in its entirety from the bench, Carvajal complained to longtime trainer Antonio Pintus: cameras caught the Spaniard having a heated discussion with the Italian, who nevertheless tried to calm him down. In the last Champions League game against Benfica the defender remained on the bench; in the first leg he had played just 1 minute. In the league he is not doing much better: back from injury he spent 5 games completely on the bench, then played 30 minutes against Real Sociedad and 64 against Osasuna, a minute count that obviously cannot make him happy.
Antonio Rüdiger is also not overjoyed: the German defender thought he would play more given also the difficulties of the starting players and instead, at least in the league, it did not happen. Against Benfica in the Champions League he played the entire first leg and also the return game, in La Liga, on the other hand, he was on the bench in 2 of the last 3 games (and against Real Sociedad he played one’hour).
