Luca Modric has entered the hearts of all Rossoneri fans. Since his first day in Milanello, the Croatian star has shown that he is a true leader and, above all, that he is a leader on the pitch. His experience, combined with an uncommon class (it should be mentioned that he won the 2018 Ballon d’Oro), have made him one of the pillars of Max Allegri’s Diavolo.

After the match the Tuscan coach confronted Fabregas at the'entrance of the San Siro press room
The two exchanged big words, and according to colleagues present also came insults

Allegri allegedly mocked Fabregas: "You’re a child who started coaching"

Fabregas later apologized for his gesture: "I did something I am not proud of, I made an unsportsmanlike gesture"

Allegri vented like this: "When you are on the field you have to be respectful towards the referee and towards the teams"

The two goals of the match were scored by Leao and Paz

As is only to be expected in light of his excellent performances, here is the Rossoneri club trying, in every way, to convince him to stay for next season as well. Luka Modric, expected in the summer from commitments with the Croatian national team at the World Cup, is definitely flattered by the’idea of continuing his adventure in the Rossoneri but, first, he has to make some important reflections.

First and foremost, there is the ID card to deal with. Despite being in great physical condition, he hasn&#8217t had any European commitments with Milan this year. It will all be different next year, considering that the Diavolo is very well placed to qualify for the next Champions League. Holding two weekly commitments could be a problem.

No obstacles, however, at the economic level. The’possible renewal will be done without having to work harder to find an agreement. The issue of employment is different. Max Allegri, after the summer, what will he be able to guarantee him in terms of appearances and involvement (it is no secret that the Rossoneri are also looking for reinforcements in midfield).

In short, in the end it will be Luka Modric who will decide whether to stay another year or not. He will do so at the end of the current season because, right now, he only has in mind to win the pass for the next Champions League with that Milan team that esteems him so much.
