Marco Bezzecchi’s MotoGP season starts in the best possible way. Free Practice 1 of the Thai GP was held in the night, which saw Marco Bezzecchi’s Aprilia shine. The Italian recorded the best time overall: 1’29″346 was his best time, one tenth faster than Fabio Di Giannantonio, the other revelation of this first practice session in Buriram.

Fabrizio PonciroliPecco Bagnaia unabashedly on Marc Marquez, the umbrellas and future in the car

Pecco Bagnaia was a guest of Alessandro Cattelan in the'last episode of sui podcast Supernova.
"With Marquez I had no problems living together. He aa understood how to behave, how to keep a pleasant climate in the team, the relationship was very good".
"On the track you can also quarrel or create tensions, especially when one receives something more than the other, but in Ducati this does not happen".
"We both receive updates at the same time, without favoritism".
"Marquez in Honda according to him chose specifications that were not suitable for everyone, but that he liked and suited his riding style".
"Umbrellas are very much needed, they are not there for beauty".
"When it is hot I am most useful and even more so if it is then raining, between gloves to keep dry and the helmet in which not to let the water".
"The flat tire this'year? Crazy, it has never happened to anyone".
"For the future, the idea is to move to four wheels as a tester or ambassador for brands like Pagani, of which I am a big fan".

Then came pre-qualifying where, once again, Marco Bezzecchi dominated the track, despite intermittent rain. The rider from Romagna has “signed” the new record of the Chang International Circuit distancing by a good 421 thousandths Marc Marquez, not yet at the top but growing rapidly compared to the free practice 1 in which he finished with the sixth time.

Badly bad Pecco Bagnaia. Despite the confidence shown during testing (“I’m more comfortable in the saddle and riding, I was looking for this and the prospects are good. Now we get serious, though: it is difficult to understand right away the values on the field but I am convinced that we have worked well”), Ducati’s Italian struggled, finishing in 15th place.

Pecco Bagnaia will therefore be forced to Q1 at the Italian’dawn on Saturday. An uphill start.
