Major concern at Bayern, main candidate at risk for summer's

Among the leading candidates for a summer transfer to Bayern Munich is certainly Givairo Read: the young Dutch star has been on the Bavarian club’s radar for some time and came out of the closet in November about the German champions’ interest (“Suddenly my teammates are speaking to me in German” he had said jokingly). According to Dutch media, however, now Bayern Munich would have some doubts about the player’s physical stability.
Givairo Read before this season had never suffered major injuries but this year seems to be cursed: in early August he had a muscle trouble that forced him into the pits for the whole month and in November he injured his thigh. Initially the problem did not seem serious and after a few weeks Robin van Persie decided to field him again but the Dutch coach’s gamble aggravated the fullback’s condition causing him to stop again. In mid-January there was a relapse of the thigh injury and Read will not return to play until mid-March. Overall he has already missed 20 games this season.
At the moment Bayern Munich has not yet permanently ruled out Givairo Read from the list of possible signings but certainly the thigh problem has raised some doubts. The club is being cautious and has stepped up efforts to monitor Josh Acheampong, a young Chelsea player who could leave the Blues given the’abundance of full-backs in the English club’s roster.
Michael Kayode is also a concrete target: although less highly rated than Read, the Italian Brentford player has several admirers in the Bayern Munich management and this season is establishing himself as one of the best in the English team’s squad. The former Fiorentina player’s excellent performance is also certified by the level of suitors: in addition to Bayern Munich Kayode is also liked by Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain.
The possible transfer of Trent Alexander-Arnold to Bayern Munich is very complicated but not impossible: the Englishman is unhappy and Real Madrid expected more from him. If the former Liverpool man were to explicitly express a desire to make a change Florentino Perez would not stand in his way and Max Eberl could give it a try.
