Paulo Dybala has become a dad: daughter’s name revealed

Paulo Dybala has become a dad for the first time. In the aftermath of the spectacular Champions match between Roma and Juventus (3-3), which was particularly heartfelt for the Giallorossi striker who wore the Bianconeri jersey for seven seasons, the daughter of the Argentine fantasist and his wife Oriana Sabatini was born at Rome&#8217s Gemelli Hospital a few days early.

There was great curiosity around the name of the firstborn girl: the little one will be named Gia, according to a report in Corriere dello Sport. The name was desired by Joya’s wife and was inspired by Angelina Jolie, who in the film ‘A Woman Beyond All Limits’ plays the role of the protagonist named Gia. A very young Oriana was impressed by this film and decided that she would name her daughter after her.

The choice to give birth to little Gia in Italy had been decided long ago as Oriana had stated: “I had thought of doing it in Argentina for the family, but it is difficult… The baby will be born in Italy. First of all because I want a natural birth, if it will be possible, and then because I want the father to be here”.

In the meantime, Dybala is ready to return to the field. Summoned by coach Gian Piero Gasperini for the challenge with Juventus, the Argentine remained on the bench for the entire match. Stopped for a month due to an inflammation in his left knee, the Roma striker is expected to see himself back on the pitch in the challenge with Genoa, scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at 6 p.m. at the Ferraris.
