Milan market, two names for the defense: the Rossoneri anticipate the timing

Acc Milan has already turned on the engines in the market for next summer: one of the objectives is to intervene to reinforce the defense, and in this sense the Rossoneri have started to move well in advance and two names, more than others, are catalyzing the attention of the management, those of Mario Gila and Kim Min-jae. They are the first two names on the notebook of the via Aldo Rossi club, ready to set up a strategy, aimed at anticipating the timing as much as possible.

Gila, Lazio’s Spanish defender, has a contract expiring in 2027 and negotiations for renewal do not seem to have even begun. The situation is clear: a non-transfer in June would allow the biancocelesti to get something economically, avoiding the classic “separated at home” situation that characterizes many such situations. However, there&#8217s not only AC Milan on the’former Real Madrid: Inter Milan has also shown interest in recent months.

Igli Tare, the Rossoneri’s ds who brought Gila to Lazio in 2022, would be ready to put 20 million euros in the pot, although Lazio would have to make an extra valuation: in fact, Real Madrid boasts a percentage in its favor on the future resale of the 25-year-old. Different, however, is the scenario concerning Kim, who has gone from being a defensive pivot of Spalletti’Italia 2023 champion Napoli to “one of many” at Bayern Munich, where he often watches his teammates from the bench.

On the right economic terms, given a valuation of around 25 million euros, Bayern would not object to a transfer of the Korean. However, the knot of the salary would remain because Milan would hardly break even with the 9 million a season paid by the Bavarians: however, the Rossoneri would try to convince Kim to reduce even considerably the salary while putting him at the center of Massimiliano Allegri’s technical project, who is looking for a key element for the quality leap in defense.

As for Gila, there is no shortage of competition for Kim, with the Turkish big names in the front line: Besiktas, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are ready for a major economic effort and that is also why Milan is trying to get ahead of the curve and arrive at next summer with clear ideas, right away.
