"Dakar 2026. The Lords of the Sand": the docufilm on Sky and NOW

Comes to Sky and streaming on NOW “Dakar 2026. The Lords of the Sand” , the docufilm hosted by Sandro Donato Grosso and directed by Claudio Cavilotti, dedicated to the latest edition of the Dakar of which Sky was official broadcaster for the first time.

A retrospective journey through the dunes, rocky deserts and passes of Saudi Arabia that punctuated the 13 stages of Dakar 2026. At the heart of the tale are the two- and four-wheel challenges of the world’s toughest rally raid, in a sports and human narrative that stage by stage reconstructs stories of victories, defeats and resilience. Privileged observation point was the new Sky Campus in Milan, where some of the protagonists were welcomed.
