Unbelievable but true. Kimi Antonelli, started from pole position (first of his career), the Mercedes driver wins the Chinese GP, dominating the race from start to finish. It was a resounding victory for the young Italian driver, who brings home his first Formula 1 success. The last Italian to win a GP was Giancarlo Fisichella in 2006. Kimi Antonelli ends an unforgettable weekend: first career pole (youngest ever to record the best time in qualifying) and, above all, first GP won in his career.

Fabrizio PonciroliBlizzard in Formula 1, Jannik Sinner also raises his voice and has his say

Jannik Sinner is a great lover of many sports.
With him now we no longer talk only about tennis.
Inevitable questions about skiing and winter sports but not only.
Sinner is also a big fan of Formula 1.
Between matches in Indian Wells he was asked for his opinion.
The new rules are making much discussion in the motor world.
"Lots of overtaking, especially in the first laps, between Russell and Leclerc", pointed out talking about the first Gp.
"The situation is a little different than in the past but it’s not for me to say what I think".
"There are positive and negative aspects, as in all things".
"Driving a Formula 1 is definitely difficult, and today it is even more so", he pointed out, however, recalling the many mistakes made by great pilotu.
"Ferrari is there, but Mercedes has an extra step".

Mercedes which has, again, shown that it has a superior race pace to everyone. Behind the stratospheric Kimi Antonelli was his teammate George Russell, who was definitely affected by problems in qualifying. Behind the two Mercedes were the Ferraris of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, who, during the race, took each other to the line several times. In the end, on the podium there went the seven-time World Champion.

For Lewis Hamilton, after the third podium in the Sprint, finally the first podium in a GP driving a Ferrari. The long ordeal is thus over. After failing to score a single podium in the disastrous first season, the Briton has started World 2026 on a high note. The podium is the certification of his rebirth. The one who chews bitterly is Max Verstappen who, even in the race, confirmed that he did not have the right feeling with his Red Bull, so much so that he was forced to retire (partner Isack Hadjar was in the points).

Clamorous what happened at the Chinese GP, the second round of the Formula 1 World Championship. At the start of the GP, as many as four single-seaters did not show up on the grid. Specifically, the two McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, the Audi of Gabriel Bortoleto and the Williams of Alexander Albon raised the white flag. Truly disappointed reigning World Champion Lando Norris, who said at Sky Sports microphones, “I think something like this has never happened.”

Formula 1 will return to the track next weekend on March 28-29 with the Japanese GP, the third round of the World Championship. It should be noted that the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian GPs have been canceled.
