Milan market, there's a talent at great risk

Another problems for Milan in the ‘extreme defenders’ chapter, one of the most tribulated in recent years with the Donnarumma and Maignan ‘cases’. The Rossoneri club is in danger of having one of its most promising talents blown away. Manchester City, where among other things Gigio plays, has in fact taken concrete steps to get to the young goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni, putting an important offer on the table: a five-year contract with very high figures for a boy who has just turned 18.

For Longoni, just back from the title of best goalkeeper at the last Under-17 World Cup where he contributed to Italy’s third place, resisting the allure of a top English club will not be easy. Not least because it is one of the richest and most ambitious clubs in the world.

Complicating Milan’s position is also the contractual situation: the goalkeeper is due to expire next June 30 and the renewal has not yet been finalized. This puts his agents in a strong position: in the last few days, apparently, the negotiation has accelerated and new contacts are expected after Easter.

The English want to close quickly, to avoid a possible final attempt by Milan to keep the player and avoid losing him at zero parameters.
