Napoli is focused on the season finale but is also looking ahead to next year. There is a desire to try to intervene on the current squad in a surgical way, trying to lower both the average age and the payroll. The club, under the indications of patron De Laurentiis, is already at work to identify the right players to invest in.

Many names are in the notebook. Among the many, there would also be Alibegovic, that is, the young Bosnian talent who, a few weeks ago, made millions of national team fans cry. Bayer Leverkusen has already redeemed him from Salzburg (for eight million euros) and could also “listen” to any offers.

Napoli believes that 18-year-old Alibegovic could become a key element of the Napoli team to come and is therefore willing to bring forward a suitable proposal to wrest him from the competition. The idea would be to find a deal before the World Cup where Alibegovic himself could put himself on display and, as a result, raise his value (we are already around 20/25 million euros).

Clearly, the hope is that this mini revolution will then be handled by Conte who, as is well known, is one of the stated goals of the Figc to come. Napoli owner De Laurentiis has not closed to the possibility of his coach becoming the new Italy coach but under certain conditions and, in any case, Napoli’s interests come first.
