In Saturday’s first matches valid for the thirty-second day of Serie A comes another win for Roberto D’Aversa’s Torino, which at home overcame Verona 2-1.

The granata started strongly and immediately unlocked the match in the 6th minute with former Giovanni Simeone’s right-footed shot. Hellas Verona reacted and found the equalizer in the 38th minute through Bowie, thus ending the first half in balance. In the second half, in the 50th minute, it was Cesare Casadei who signed Torino’s new lead on an assist from Obrador, while Che Adams’ possible 3-1 goal was also later cancelled out. With this success, Roberto D’Aversa’s team rises to 39 points, while Sammarco’s Gialloblù remain last on 18 points along with Pisa.

The position of Cremonese, defeated 1-0 at home by Cagliari, remains in the balance. After a first half lacking in chances, Sebastiano Esposito’s goal in the 63rd minute, on an assist from Ze Pedro, decided the match.

The Sardinians thus rise to 33 points, while the grigiorossi remain firm on 27.
