Inter market: Calhanoglu goes to Galatasaray, Nerazzurri identify replacement

Inter Milan is preparing to say goodbye to Hakan Calhanoglu. The Turkish midfielder has been courted for years by Galatasaray, and the Istanbul club appears to be finally ready to close the deal to secure the player, whose contract expires in 2027.
Calhanoglu remains a key player for the Biscione, but difficulties in contract renewal negotiations (Inter have no intention of confirming his current €6 million salary) are effectively pushing the former AC Milan player to leave the Meneghino club immediately this summer.
According to rumors from Turkish media ASpor TV, the deal would be closed “at 99 percent” and the player would have given “his word.” The deal would be in the final throes and would lack are the signature of the Turkish national, who is ready to return to his homeland. The Nerazzurri club valued the player at 30 million euros about a year ago, the demand for his player card may have dropped to around 20 million.
