Antonio Faravelli’s wines convince all at Golf Cup 2026

Always on the crest of a wave Antonio Faravelli, winemaker and golf enthusiast from Montù Beccaria, in Oltrepò Pavese, owner of Cantine Vitea and promoter of the “Golf and Wine 1895” project. He was exclusively invited to participate in the 2026 Golf Cup organized by Ake Group, hosted at Le Robinie Golf Club, where he presented both his wines and the initiative related to the relaunch of the brand.
During the event, the wines of Cantine Vitea, already awarded on several occasions, were offered for tasting to the participants. The feedback was, as always, very positive, with appreciation for quality and good interest in purchases as well, particularly for the sparkling and spumante versions, which in the past had also attracted the attention of Giacomo Puccini. “I would have liked to meet him as well, but of course we are from different eras,” Faravelli says: “however, eras change and the quality of the wine is the same, indeed even better because of the cultivation techniques of the vineyards, one of our prides.”
The “Golf and Wine 1895” project was presented during the day and aroused interest among those present, so much so that Faravelli has been invited to take the initiative and its wines to other major golf clubs as well.
