Virtus Bologna, Nenad Jakovljevic greets Euroleague with a win and a warning

At the end of the Belgrade game won against Maccabi, coach Nenad Jakovljevic commented on the performance of his Virtus, which bid farewell to the Euroleague with a success: “Tonight’s was a really tough game. We played against a very good team like Maccabi, well coached by a good coach and with very good players who know how to play good basketball together.”

“Also for these reasons this victory is even more important for us. I’m happy for the victory and as I always told my players we can’t make some mistakes that are the result of lapses in concentration, both on 24 seconds and in the 40 minutes.”

“We can’t afford to lose a game because of these mistakes and that’s why we will have to work on these aspects to make sure they don’t happen again: that’s for sure,” concluded the coach of the V-nere, already mathematically eliminated at the same level as Olimpia Milano.
