Olimpia Milano: Quinn Ellis leaves but will not be the'only one to leave at the end of the season

Now there is no longer any doubt. Quinn Ellis, at the end of his first season in Milan, red-and-white side, will pack his bags. A new NCAA experience awaits him. He will play with the prestigious St. John’s jersey, under the guidance of a legend like Rick Pitino. He will do so for a significant sum, amounting to about $4.8 million.
A farewell that the red and white club had budgeted for but that, nonetheless, will force the red and white to make major moves during the summer. Also because Quinn Ellis will not be the only one to pack his bags. Josh Nebo seems destined to play elsewhere, as does Nico Mannion. Doubts also exist about the permanence of Stefano Tunut and Diego Flaccadori.
Then there is the question of whether to continue the relationship with Marko Guduric. The former Fener did not particularly shine in his first season in the red and white, and although he is still under contract with EA7, he might even end his adventure in Milan prematurely.
In short, Olimpia Milano 2026/27 will have a completely different roster than this year’s. Coach Peppe Poeta, along with the club, will have to choose the right players (there is persistent talk of a strong courtship towards Alessandro Pajola of Virtus Bologna) to try to raise the level and do well, especially in the Euroleague where, for years, only bad figures have been collected.
