Olimpia Milano: Peppe Poeta sheds light on hierarchy ahead of playoffs

Olimpia forgot the disappointment of the early end of the Euroleague run with a bombastic victory, in the league, against Guerri Napoli. The Red and White, in front of their own audience, scored an impressive 125 points. A season record and a score not seen since back in 1990.
Satisfied coach Peppe Poeta, who, in the press room, in addition to stressing how this victory must be “… a starting point,” made it known that he has, in fact, decided on which players he will bet on in the post season, with clear ideas regarding minute and rotation.
“This is a set-up that gives us solidity, but it is not said that it can change. All the guys know they have to be ready. We have clear hierarchies, everyone was confident in the match with Napoli. In principle, this could be the set-up, then of course all it takes is an injury or something in the series to change,” his clear words.
Bolmaro, specifically, seems to be the key man of this team, thanks to his excellent defensive skills and his ability to raise the team’s tempo: “When he hasn’t been there, he’s been missed tremendously. He’s crucial for us,” the Red and White coach’s own quip.
