Laila Hasanovic raises the bar: Jannik Sinner’s girlfriend discovers a new passion

Laila Hasanovic discovers a new passion: golf. While her fiancé Jannik Sinner is busy at the Madrid Masters 1000, the Danish model tried her hand with the golf club together with another VIP, Desiré Inglander, wife of Swedish pole vaulting star Armand “Mondo” Duplantis.
Hasanovic, by now a regular presence at Azzurro’s side in recent months, posted a series of photos and videos on Instagram that captured her special day. The model practiced her swing: also accompanying her on the court was her faithful little dog Snoopy. Sinner has tried his hand at golf in the past without very positive results: will his partner be his coach?
This is certainly not the first time Laila has carved out spaces of her own while Sinner is competing. The Danish model, born Nov. 8, 2000, in Copenhagen to a family of Bosnian descent, has always been able to balance her work commitments with being at the champion’s side. It was precisely her ability to remain discreet and never intrusive that had also won over Elena Santarelli, who, on the occasion of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000, had spoken honeyed words for her: “She is discreet, humble, easy-going, sweet, helpful, nice, composed and chic, never out of place. I think she is the right girl for a great champion.”
In Madrid, meanwhile, Sinner is aiming for a historic feat: to win a fifth consecutive Masters 1000, an achievement no tennis player has ever managed to achieve. The Azzurro arrives at the Caja Magica with 17 consecutive victories behind him, the result of triumphs in Indian Wells, Miami and Monte Carlo, where he regained the top of the ATP ranking by beating Carlos Alcaraz in the final. He is scheduled to make his debut in the Spanish tournament against Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi, an opponent he has already faced and beaten on all three previous occasions.
