A chill fell among the fans when the Blaugrana number ten, after putting his team ahead on a penalty, immediately asked for a change, without even exulting, with an expression that suggested the worst.

The first news coming from the locker room at Camp Nou is far from reassuring: an injury to the hamstring in his left thigh is suspected. If examinations in the coming hours confirm this hypothesis, Yamal’s season could already be over, also seriously jeopardizing his presence at the 2026 World Cup with Spain.

The incident occurred in the 40th minute of the first half, in an evening already complicated by the illness suffered by a fan in the stands (which required the simultaneous intervention of the emergency services). Yamal converted the penalty by beating Radu, but just at the moment of the shot he felt a sudden and intense pain in his thigh.
