Valencia and Girona take the field at 6:30 p.m. for a match valid for the 33rd day of the Spanish top league. Both teams want to move away from the relegation zone for good and perhaps try to hook the sprint for sixth place, which means Conference League qualification. The hosts at 36 points have won only one game in the last five and need to shake things up if they are not to get sucked into the hot spots of the standings, while Girona, 13th at 38, is coming off a heavy home defeat against Betis.

Sadiq and Danjuma are Valencia’s points of reference in attack. On the flanks are Rioja and Ramazani, in midfield Ugrinic is paired with Rodriguez. The full-backs are Saravia and Gaya.

Michel relies on Echeverri and Martin for his Girona attack, on the flanks are Tsygankov and Ounahi. Witsel in the center along with Beltran. In defense, a four-man lineup composed of Martinez, Reis, Blind and Moreno.
