“Five generations of winemakers, more than a hundred years of history. Fathers and sons united by the same passion for viticulture and enology. Over time we learned about the land, selected the best grape varieties, observed their vocation. In the 1970s, we ambled to produce high-quality bottled D.O.C. wines,” proudly stresses Antonio Faravelli.

The winemaker and avid golfer from Montù Beccaria, in Oltrepò Pavese, is the owner of Cantine Vitea and creator of the “Golf and Wine 1895” project. With his wines and relaunch project, he has been exclusively invited to the Swing Experience 2026, hosted in the prestigious Golf Club Barlassina.

The “Golf and Wine 1895” initiative and the winery’s award-winning wines have been highly praised, including labels that in the past even won over the composer Giacomo Puccini.

During the event, many participants tasted the wines of Cantine Vitea, being impressed by the high quality and enthusiastically deciding to purchase them.

“We have invested in winemaking systems and technology. We believed in the possibility of environmentally sustainable viticulture and the production of authentic and genuine wines. We aspired to go beyond the borders of Italy and take our story to different countries around the world. Today Vitea is all of this: a family with solid roots in the past, living the present, thinking about the future,” the entrepreneur added.
