Kyle Hines in the Olimpia Hall of Fame: "I miss the people of Milan"

Before the Olimpia Milano-Pallacanestro Trieste match, press conference starring Kyle Hines. The former red and white center officially entered the club’s Hall of Fame: “Honored to enter the legend of this club. A special evening, there are 40/45 members of my family.”
In Milan from 2020 to 2024, Kyle Hines recounted his landing at Olimpia: “What sparked my interest was Chacho in 2020. He was always sending me messages via social, explaining the Olimpia project. We knew each other well, having played together… Then I had started my career in Italy, so, I knew the significance of Olimpia in Italian and European basketball.”
The three-time Euroleague winner also talked about what he currently misses about basketball: “I miss the pre-game, the preparation of certain competitions, being in the locker room. The competitions that are worth trophies. Then, talking about Milan, I miss the people. It has always been a special place for me.”
On the possibility that, one day, he might return to Milan, perhaps as an executive, Kyle Hines responds as follows, “Right now I’m working with the Brooklyn Nets and I’m having fun. I’m learning a lot of things I didn’t know about basketball. A future in Milan? I’m open to every option. My wife always tells me that she would like to return to Italy. At some point, when the time is right, it will happen.”
