It’s raining in the house of Dinamo Sassari. Already mathematically relegated, the Sardinian club is grappling with a case that has stunned everyone. For the last away game of the season, on the court of Germani Brescia, coach Veljko Mrsic will not be able to count on as many as three players. The reason? Disciplinary reasons.

“Dinamo Banco di Sardegna announces that the athletes Rashawn Thomas, Daryl Macon Jr. and Carlos Marshall have been suspended for disciplinary reasons and will not take part in Sunday’s game against Germani Brescia, valid for the 30th day of Serie A Unipol.” This is the club’s official statement in which the three suspensions are made official.

In fact, there had already been warnings that something was amiss. For example, captain Rashawn Thomas, criticized for his poor performance during the season, almost avoided responding to reporters in the last press conference.

Who is smiling, however, is Germani Brescia, which on Sunday will face an already relegated Dinamo Sassari and with three key men less on the roster. As known, the Leonessa must win to be certain of the second final place in the play-off grid (regardless of the result that Milan will do with Trento).
