The match between Levante and Osasuna, scheduled for tonight at 9 p.m., officially opens the thirty-fourth day of La Liga. On the turf of the Estadi Ciutat de València is staged a very delicate challenge, where the points at stake weigh double for the contrasting ambitions of the two formations. The “Granotas” take the field with the categorical imperative of victory: currently relegated to second-last place in the standings, the hosts find themselves four points behind Sevilla. A misstep in today’s clash would risk permanently fading salvation hopes, especially with the Andalusians engaged in the round against Espanyol in a crossroads that could prove fatal for the hierarchies of the relegation zone.

On the other hand, Osasuna’s season has experienced ups and downs under technical guidance, but still remains open to scenarios that were unhoped for just a few months ago. Despite an inconsistent roll, Alessio Lisci’s men find themselves in the midst of a breathtaking European run. Thanks to an extremely short ranking, the “Los Rojillos,” with their 42 points, are fully in the running for a spot in the next Conference League. The tussle is tight: Getafe and Athletic Bilbao are just two lengths apart, making every little detail crucial. For the guests, coming out with the three points from Valencia would not only mean consolidating their position, but sending a clear signal to the direct competitors for Europe in this fiery season finale.

Castro must do without Arriaga disqualified in addition to Romero, Alvarez and Primo injured. The coach relies on Ryan between the posts, Manu Sanchez and Toljan will be the full-backs in the 4-man defense, Olasagasti and Pablo Martinez as half-wings, trident formed by Losada on the left (ahead of Brugui), Vitor Garcia on the right to support the only forward Carlos Espì.

Lisci relies on his faithful: the 4-man defense is proven and composed of Galan-Catena-Boyomo-Rosier, in the middle Moncayola and Iker Munoz are the favorites. Trident composed of former Lazio Raul Moro on the left, Ruben Garcia on the right in support of bomber Ante Budimir.

Osasuna (4-2-3-1): Herrera; Rosier, Catena, Boyomo, Galan; Moncayola, Munoz; Garcia, Moi Gomez, Moro; Budimir. All. Lisci.
