La Liga 2025-2026: Atletico Madrid-Celta Vigo, the probable formations

Four days after the painful elimination in the Champions League semifinal at the hands of Arsenal, Atletico Madrid has a chance to redeem itself by taking on Celta Vigo. The Colchoneros are in fourth place in the standings with a margin of 10 points over fifth-placed Betis, while the guests occupy the sixth position with 47 points.

Different absences Diego Simeone will have to deal with: there will be no Barrios in the middle of the field and Julian Alvarez and Nico Gonzalez in attack. In strong doubt is Giuliano Simeone. On the outside lanes there should be Rodrigo Mendoza and Baena, in the middle Cardoso and the stainless Koke. Attack entrusted to Griezmann and Almada, in his 16th start.
