Immarcesible. Lionel Messi, 38, has written another, historic, page in soccer, specifically in the MLS record book. In the match won by Inter Miami over Toronto FC (4-2 the final), the Pulce was a great protagonist.

The Argentine, class of 1987, scored a goal and two assists in the match. It was a fabulous performance that made himthe fastest player in MLS history to reach 100 goals and assists: specifically, 59 goals and 41 assists in 64 regular season matches, shattering the previous record of 95 held by Italy’s Sebastian Giovinco in Toronto.

“It was a tough game and difficult to play, especially in the first half mbut we managed to get an important win because we had to win given the recent results and how things have played out, so I’m happy,” the words of Lionel Messi himself reported by ESPN.

The feeling is that Lionel Messi is in top physical shape. Many expect him at the World Cup in an Argentina jersey for what would be his last participation in a World Cup final. The hope is that he will continue to enjoy himself so that he can break the deadlock and give the okay for his presence.
