Trieste basketball: Jahmi'us Ramsey takes home a prestigious trophy

Jahmi’us Ramsey, guard of Pallacanestro Trieste, with a total of 540 points at the end of the regular season of Serie A Unipol 2025/26, won the Antonello Riva Trophy – Climamio, dedicated to the top scorer who scored the most total points during the 2025/26 regular season and followed on the podium by Christian Vital (Bertram Derthona Tortona) with 510 points and Amedeo Della Valle (Germani Brescia) with 462 points.
The 2001-born American took the stage with the naturalness of great scorers. The Trieste basketball guard’s season has been a steady crescendo of points, offensive leadership and a continuity rare in the Serie A landscape. The most striking statistic is not only his scoring average, the highest in the league, but the variety of his repertoire: explosive penetrations, lethal stops and shots, and the ability to build conclusions even under pressure. The Arlington, Virginia, native has proven to be a pure scorer, the kind that shifts balances and forces defenses to make constant adjustments.
Trieste, which gained access to both the LBA Playoffs Unipol and the Frecciarossa Final Eight 2026, has built much of its offensive identity around its talent, finding in Ramsey a reliable terminal at key moments. It is no coincidence that many of the heaviest wins have come through his hands, often decisive in point-to-point finals. The numbers give substance to the perception: an average of 19.3 points per game, with solid percentages from both the arc and mid-range (60.8% from two, 38.2% from three and with 78.2% on free throws), to which he added 2.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 16.9 average rating. A constant offensive production, as many as 18 times above 20 points with a peak of 34 points against Treviso Basket in the 5th round of the championship, certifying his impact and centrality in the Trieste system.
The individual recognition came inevitably: the Antonello Riva Trophy – Climamio of the Serie A Unipol 2025/26 certifies a clear offensive supremacy. An award that historically belongs to great scorers and that today finds in Ramsey a modern, dynamic and complete interpreter.
