Play Off Serie C 2025-2026: Union Brescia-Casarano, likely lineups

Union Brescia and Casarano face each other Wednesday at 8 p.m. for the match valid for the return leg of the quarterfinals of the Serie C Play Offs. The biancazzurri see the semifinals, on the strength of the round 3-0 Del “Capozza” against the freshman Casarano: the formation led by Eugenio Corini returns to the “Mario Rigamonti” being able to manage a very important safety margin, which allows to concretely feed the dream of promotion to Serie B. On the opposite side, the Salento revelation (undisputed surprise of this post-season) will take the field in an attempt to sign a feat that would have the resounding: four goals difference are needed to pass, three would not be enough.
Corini seems inclined to re-propose the same 3-5-2 deployed in the first leg, with the idea of giving some rest to the big boys should the match immediately get on the right track. Between the posts will be Gori, protected by the back trio consisting of Armati, Silvestri and Rizzo. The midfield hinge will be Zennaro, Mercati and Balestrero, with Cisco and De Maria pushing on the outside lanes. The offensive tandem will once again feature Marras and Crespi, although the chances of seeing Cazzadori as a starter from the opening whistle are on the upswing.
On the opposite front, Di Bari will respond by relying on the 4-3-3. Bacchin will defend the goal, shielded by the defensive block consisting of Logoluso, Gega, Negro and Giraudo. The keys of the midfield will be in the hands of Cerbone, Maiello and Ferrara, while the attacking trident will be led by the “three tenors” Chiricò, Grandolfo and Leonetti.
