Bologna and Inter end the season with a crackling draw

Inter closed the season of the 21st Scudetto in its history with a 3-3 draw, on a comeback, at home to Bologna. The Nerazzurri thus close out 2025-2026 with two points in their last two games, with games, however, abundantly closed in their favor for three weeks now. Bologna, already certain of the eighth final position, ends the championship with 56 points, just three lengths from the last useful place for the European cups, occupied by Atalanta.

To open the dances at the “Dall’Ara” is precisely the Nerazzurri team, scoring with Federico Dimarco directly from a free kick at 22′: the Inter player thus celebrates winning the award of best player of Serie A, the first Italian to do so since the introduction of the recognition (2018-2019). Bologna, however, reacted immediately and equalized on 25′: Bernardeschi initiated the action with a backheel, took advantage of a favorable rebound and finished on net past Josep Martinez to make it 1-1.

Before halftime, the second Rossoblù goal also arrived, on 42′: former Milan player Pobega concluded a first-time shot from the edge of the area, found a deflection by Lautaro Martinez and mocked the Nerazzurri goalkeeper. Three minutes after the start of the second half, the third goal also arrives and this time it is a 100 percent own goal: Miranda tries to serve towards the center of the area, Zielinski is in the path but his intervention is clumsy and the ball caroms into the net for 3-1 Bologna.

Chivu wants to avoid the embarkation and at 54′ makes a triple change: Bonny, Mkhitaryan and Luis Henrique take over from Lautaro Martinez, Barella and Dimarco. The reaction came and at 64′ Inter shortened the score with Pio Esposito, who put back into the net from two steps after Diouf hit the post. The latter then manages to score, completing the counter-attack, in the 86th minute: serving him is the young Topalovic (class of 2006, entered in the 81st minute for De Vrij), the conclusion is precise and Skorupski is beaten. There will be no other emotions, it ends 3-3.
