The decisions of the Sports Judge were highly anticipated after the sensational episode that occurred during the challenge between Roseto and Ruvo di Puglia: after a rebound and a disputed ball Jacopo Borra lost his head and repeatedly punched Roseto’s Aristide Landi in the face.

The sporting judge punished Borra with 3 days of disqualification “because following contact in the game he blatantly and repeatedly struck the opposing team player Aristide Landi in the face with punches while the latter was on the ground, striking him violently and causing him lacerated wounds to the face [art. 33,3/2a RG,art. 21,5b RG,art. 24,2b RG]”.

Euro 1’667 fine for Roseto “for collective and frequent offenses of the home crowd toward two well-identified members of the opposing team [art. 27,4bd RG rec, art. 28,3 RG,art. 24,4 RG]”.

Also punished Ruvo di Puglia executive Gianluigi Campanale: for him 14 days’ inhibition, until 5/6/2026 “for having repeatedly, following an adverse refereeing decision, behaved offensively and protestingly towards the referees [art. 33,1/1b RG rec.,art. 24,2b RG,art. 21,5a RG]”.
