Serie A 2025-2026: Milan-Cagliari, the likely lineups

The 2025-2026 Serie A has reached its final chapter, with seven matches on Sunday that will bring the curtain down on a season that still has the last goals to be defined, in the Europa zone and in the last positions. It will be the Emilian derby between Parma and Sassuolo, at 3 p.m., that will kick off the dancing: both are already safe for some time, the neroverdi could still rise to the left side of the standings by joining or overtaking Udinese in the standings.
The Friulians will be engaged at 6 p.m. at home to Napoli: the partenopei will play their last match with the Scudetto on their chests in front of their own public, with the goal of ending the season in an however honorable second position. The highlight of the day, however, is scheduled for 8:45 p.m., with five decisive matches on either side of the standings.
In the Champions zone there are two seats availablefor four contenders: AC Milan, engaged at home against Cagliari, and Roma, awaiting a Hellas Verona already relegated, have collected 70 points so far and are favored but Juventus, which will play the derby at the home of Torino, and Como, which will face Cremonese at the “Zini”, follow at 68 and hope for a slip-up by their rivals to play the League Phase of the Cup with big ears next year.
The result of Cremonese-Como will also be important in terms of salvation: the grigiorossi start -1 ahead of Lecce, which will instead play at the Via del Mare against Genoa. The Giallorossi have their fate in their own hands: with a victory they are certainly saved, otherwise everything will depend on the other match. The possibility of a play-off is also not ruled out: with a Genoa success and a draw at the “Zini” Lecce and Cremonese would be level on 35 and would play a head-to-head challenge to remain in the top flight.
