Vero Volley Monza has made official the confirmation of Diego Frascio also for the 2026/2027 season. The class of 2006 opposite player will thus continue his path with the Brianza club, after a championship that consecrated him among the most interesting revelations of the team.

In July he will be 20 years old, but during the last season Frascio has already shown maturity and personality in the most delicate moments of the championship. Raised in the Monza nursery, he had already hinted at his potential in previous experiences in the SuperLega; in the last year, however, he managed to carve out an increasingly central role for himself, gaining space and confidence thanks to convincing performances and great character. His confirmation testifies to the club’s desire to continue to invest in young talent, building an ambitious and future-oriented project.

“Staying in Monza means so much to me, by now I consider this environment as a second home,” Frascio said. “A special bond has been created with everyone and I really feel part of a family. In the last season I had more opportunities than I imagined and for that I am grateful to the club and all the people who supported me. It is still early to talk about the next championship, but I can guarantee maximum commitment in every game to help the team achieve the best possible results. I expect an intense season, with many high-level competitions and, given the young age of the group, maybe even some nice surprises.”
