Leaguewoman talks about planned Islamic attack during playoff challenge

Currently a Leghist, but formerly a member of the New Center Right Angelino Alfano, and before that of the Freedom Party, in a post placed on her own social media, MEP Anna Cisint specified – based on unspecified sources of hers – that the 22-year-old arrested in Reggio Emilia was ready for an attack during a basketball game: a phrase that has caused some concern. The game in question was the one played Thursday by Priftis’ team and Olimpia Milano.

Police in Reggio Emilia and Bologna arrested the Italian of Moroccan origin, who was charged with enlisting for the purpose of terrorism, including international terrorism. The operation was triggered when investigators gathered elements about the young man’s alleged intention to carry out an armed attack with a knife in the center of Reggio Emilia.

Corroborating the action allegedly masterminded by the man at the basketball meeting, the former mayor of Monfalcone has also sparked a debate among basketball fans: Wikipedia, ironically, attributes to her a past relationship with former national team basketball player Alberto Tonut.
