Olimpia Milano: many excellent farewells in summer for a new technical project

At the moment, Olimpia Milano is completely focused on the start of the series, valid for the LBA semifinals, with Germani Brescia. For so many players currently on the roster, these playoffs could be their last with the red and white jersey.
The list of possible starters is long and with big names. It starts with Josh Nebo who seems destined to wear the Barcelona jersey. Quinn Ellis is also on the way out: he is expected by coach Rick Pitino at St. John’s (although new NCAA rules could change the scenarios). Many doubts also about the permanence of Zach LeDay, who has been approached by many Euroleague clubs.
A real rebus the future of Armoni Brooks. The MVP of the last regular season is sought, insistently, by ASVEL and Partizan. On the plate important figures that the Milanese club can hardly draw. Also to be understood is what will happen to Ousmane Diop and Nico Mannion. Both are expected to play elsewhere next year.
In short, next year, Olimpia, by necessity, will change face. Few players are certain to stay, among them some pillars like Pippo Ricci and Leandro Bolmaro. Perhaps even Shavon Shields, assuming an agreement is reached at the end of the season.
