'Football Market-L'Original' restarts on Sky from June 1

The most beloved traveling format for all sportsmen and soccer fans is ready to return on Sky and streaming on NOW: from Monday, June 1, it will be time again for ‘Calciomercato-L’Originale,’ the cult program of the summer on Sky Sport, which this year is celebrating 22 candles. Entertainment, news, in-depth reports and the tale of all the negotiations and trades that will animate the summer market session, this year again on tour, with first stop in Olbia and last destination Capri, in a journey that will pass through nine beautiful Italian towns in a unique journey in which sports news will mix with culture, beauty and entertainment. The program, signed and conceived by Alessandro Bonan, Davide Bucco and Guido Barucco, with the creative direction of Roberto “Popi” Montoli will be able to count, as usual, on the entire Sky Sport market team, led by Gianluca Di Marzio and Luca Marchetti, ready to provide continuous updates and curiosities from the web and social media from the Fayna location.
THE 2026 SUMMER TOURNĂˆE. Nearly 50 days to be lived on the road together with the protagonists of sport and Sky’s talent, combining the sports story of the Great Summer of the House of Sport with the discovery of the Italian regional territory, through the testimonies and contributions of those who live it firsthand and know how to enhance its inestimable richness and variety. After Olbia, where the Calciomercato caravan will stop from June 1 to 5, it will stay on the seashore of Sardinia, in Golfo Aranci, from June 8 to 12. From June 15 to 19 it will be Tuscany’s turn with Follonica, then, the following week it will be the turn of Alassio, in western Liguria, from June 22 to 26. The city of Ancona is ready to welcome the L’Originale team from June 29 to July 3, before its arrival in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in Pordenone, from June 6 to 10. The Adriatic Riviera will take center stage with the town of Fano, July 13 to 17, and Trentino, with Riva del Garda, August 17 to 21. Finally, the island of Capri will close the tour from August 24 to 28.
This year’s Sky Sport program will also have its own soundtrack: ‘I would need to smile,’ is the title of the new song signed by Alessandro Bonan for the summer edition. A liberating song with a pressing rhythm, straight bass drum and clapping hands to the sky in an invitation to lightness and disengagement, to put aside, at least for a while, the difficulties of life.
The PODCAST – Also restarting from Monday, June 1, is “Buongiorno Calciomercato,” Gianluca Di Marzio’s daily podcast: every morning after L’Originale, the space to delve into the latest soccer market news and provide previews of negotiations still in progress. “Buongiorno Calciomercato” is an exclusive podcast available from the early morning hours on Sky Sport Insider for all subscribers.
