Champions League up for grabs: PSG-Arsenal, the likely lineups for the final

Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal will play for Europe’s throne in the Champions League final scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary. PSG wants to continue its historic cycle: dominant at home, Luis Enrique’s team wants to confirm itself in Europe as well and is hunting for its second consecutive victory in the continent’s top competition. The Gunners are in the hunt for the third European cup in their history: the Londoners have won a Cup Winners’ Cup and a Uefa Cup in the past, losing the 2006 Champions League final to Barcelona.
Both teams have won their respective championships and are in high confidence. PSG will recover both Hakimi and Dembelè for the final: the 2025 Golden Ball winner will play in the center of the trident with Doué and Kvaratskhelia on his flanks. In midfield there will be the trio Vitinha, Joao Neves, Ruiz, the full-backs will be precisely Hakimi and Pacho.
Arteta has to give up Ben White, who is injured. In attack Havertz will be supported by Saka, Odegaard and Trossard. In midfield, the midfielders are Rice and Lewis-Skelly. The defensive line includes central Saliba and Gabriel, and Mosquera and Calafiori on the flanks.
The two teams had faced each other in last season’s Champions League semifinal: PSG won both games narrowly, 1-0 and 2-1. The final will be visible on Sky, Sky Go and NOW, and delayed on TV8 at 9 p.m.
