Juventus market, Spalletti junior says goodbye to the Bianconeri

Filico Spalletti’s experience at Juventus comes to an end after just one season. The son of coach Luciano Spalletti, who joined the Juventus club in 2024 as an observer during Cristiano Giuntoli’s management, has decided not to accept the renewal proposal put forward by the club and will leave Turin at the natural expiration of his contract.
A new professional challenge is already ready for him. As of July, in fact, Federico Spalletti will join the Genoa organization, with which he will sign a new agreement. According to reports, the choice would also have matured from the desire to build an independent path in the world of soccer, away from the professional contexts linked to his father’s career.
Known to friends and family by the nickname “Chicco,” Federico Spalletti presents a profile that is anything but traditional. He speaks five languages, holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in analytic philosophy from Switzerland. An academic education that he has been able to integrate with his passion for soccer and game analysis.
In fact, on his own LinkedIn profile he had explained how his university and sports path grew in parallel: “My passion for soccer has never left me. I have increasingly placed soccer and philosophy side by side through the study of tactics, statistics, and player analysis.”
His career in professional soccer began in 2023 with Udinese Calcio, before moving to Juventus, where he was particularly involved in scouting activities related to the youth sector. Now a new adventure opens for him in the Rossoblù, with the goal of continuing a professional path that aims to carve out an increasingly important space in the technical area and talent analysis.
