Due to an injury, Alessandro Pajola is not on the court with his teammates in the series with Reyer Venezia. A hard blow for the captain of the V Nere who, in fact, ended the current season but also his adventure in Bologna.

As certified by GM Paolo Ronci, the point guard has made it known that he wants to get involved elsewhere, that he desires a new sporting adventure. After 11 years spent in Bologna, sponda Virtus, the 26-year-old Italian feels the need to change and test himself in another team, obviously a top one.

His name has been approached, several times, to Olimpia Milano. It would not be the first time that a Virtus Bologna captain chose to wear red and white (think of Pippo Ricci). However, as explained by GM Paolo Ronci himself, the hope is that Alessandro Pajola’s future will not be in Italy.

The club would prefer to see him play in some foreign club, so as not to face him in the league and, eventually, are in the Euroleague. At the moment, it is not easy to make predictions. Someone like Alessandro Pajola can be useful to a lot of clubs, especially those looking for a defensive leader. Olimpia Milano, however, remains at the window. Having him would be a big blow, also because of the issue related to the number of Italians on the roster.
