In Turkey it is an open duel between Hakan Safi and Aziz Yildirim to take the presidency of Fenerbahce. The two are in the midst of an election campaign. The former, in order to get to victory, has gambled on a big name: Robert Lewandowski.

According to journalist Tomasz Wlodarczyk, who is very close to the 37-year-old Polish bomber, Hakan Safi would be ready to guarantee Robert Lewandowski a 20-million-euro salary to play with the Fenerbahce jersey should he become the club’s president.

As is well known, the Polish striker is considering all proposals for the new season. With his Barcelona adventure over, he recently said he sees himself in “less demanding” soccer than the top ones. The Turkish league could be the perfect solution.

The Serie A is still hoping. Both Milan and Juventus are at the window to see whether or not there are conditions to try to bring Robert Lewandowski to Italy. Of course, in front of such an offer, everything would be useless. There is only to see if Hakan Safi will win the elections, scheduled for June 6/7.
