Luxembourg-Italy, the probable formations

Luxembourg and Italy take the field Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. for a friendly scheduled at the Stade de Luxembourg. There is great curiosity for the Azzurri led by ferryman Silvio Baldini, all youngsters with Gianluigi Donnarumma the team’s only veteran.

Baldini is expected to abandon Gennaro Gattuso’s 3-5-2, which foundered in Bosnia, and return to the 4-3-3 tracing his Under 21. Between the posts Donnarumma, the full-backs will be Palestra and Ahanor, the two center-backs Comuzzo and Chiarodia. In midfield space will be given to Pisilli, Lipani and Dagasso, in front the trident consisting of Fini and Koleosho with Pio Esposito in the center.

Jeff Strasser’s lineup will see Moris in goal protected by Jans, Korac, Carlson and Bohnert. Martins, Olesen and team star Barreiro will act in the middle of the field. Thill and Dardari will act on either side of the offensive reference Sinani.
